Staycation with Universal's Aventura Hotel

Feat. Universal’s Aventura Hotel
Hi my loves! Welcome back to another blog post, but this isn’t just any kind of post - it’s my staycation trip at Aventura!!! It was def. a fun adventure to say the least, but scroll right through and see for yourself!
Day 1:
Checking in was a breeze and the Front Desk team greeted us so nicely! I’ve always appreciated a nice, easy check in process (fun fact: I was a front desk receptionist for almost two years & I’ve worked in hospitality for more than 2 years, so I’m always appreciative of a hard working staff). We got to our room on the 15th (love top floors) and literally was in awe with our view as soon as I walked in!
Our Deluxe Double Queen Bedroom included these amenities: mini fridge, complimentary wifi, work desk, lounge chair, two queen beds, closet, AND this really cool tablet that you can control the room’s lights from, change tv channels, order food and more!
This view was seriously the best thing ever!! I could see all of Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure, Cabana Bay, AND I could see Downtown Orlando from a far. The tall windows gave the rooms such an open feeling!
While settling into our room (of course I had to dig into my fruit platter), we started to plan our night and the next day! The hotel offered a shuttle bus to CityWalk Orlando, which was super convenient because I didn’t have to drive AND really felt like a tourist in my own city. We went downstairs to the main lobby, where they had a concierge desk. We stopped by to pick up our Universal tickets (another convenient option) so we could avoid any kind of lines and get our morning started for the parks!
At night we explored the hotel and I wanted to see everything they had to offer! now, I went in the beginning of September, unfortunately the weather was not on our side to enjoy the pool, but we made the most of our staycation!
Hotel Amenities
Starbucks
Right in the lobby- WHAT A DREAM! I’m not a morning person, so this came in handy for the day filled with theme parks!
Food Hall
This hotel didn’t have a restaurant or a full menu room service BUT it did offer a really cool food court with options for everyone; from pizza to sushi, there’s a little bit of everything for everyone. It had such a modern vibe, it wasn’t your ordinary food court, that’s for sure. My fiance and I enjoyed coming here for a quick lunch before heading out to Citywalk!
Outside Pool, Bar & Game Area
The pool area had such a nice and chill environment. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy the outside area just because as soon as we got outside, it’s started to thunder and lightning. But it looked really nice! Oh and they had a kid section too and loved that because there’s a an area for everyone!
Rooftop Bar & Grill
The rooftop bar was probably one of my favorite parts of the hotel because of the insane view of Orlando!! I loved coming up here to take it all in, chill in the lounge area and enjoy! Highly recommended checking out the rooftop!!
A Night Out
The first night we wanted to experience a true staycation and go out to CityWalk and have ourselves a nice date night! We loved that the hotel provided a shuttle service throughout the day and night to CityWalk, so we def. took advantage of that! We decided to have dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp and walk around and enjoy the night! It was a great first day at Aventura.

Day 2:
We had a fun-filled day at the parks! Wanted to share some awesome photos we took at my favorite spots! P.s. my morning was made when babe brought me my Starbucks! My morning was made and we were ready for the day!
Enjoy!
Had to end the day with some donuts!! VooDoo Doughnut has such a huge menu of flavors AND vegan donuts yassss!
After a long day at the parks, we wanted to relax, take a nap and enjoy the view!
Thank you to the Loew’s Hotel at Universal Orlando team for collaborating with me and offering me such a great staycation!
As you all know, all opinions are my own and 100% honest! We truly enjoyed our staycation and recommend checking out the Aventura Hotel if you’re planning on traveling to Orlando or just want to get away for a few days. Hope you all enjoyed this post and thank you again to Universal Orlando Resorts!
